About the course

To practice medicine in Germany, obtaining a German medical license (Approbation) is essential, which demands specific qualifications. This includes proving language proficiency at least at the B2 level for general language skills and at the C1 level for medical language skills.

The course designed to prepare for the Medical Language Examination (abbreviated as FSP), conducted by the Medical Chambers, builds on the internal B2 language examination (standard language) or another B2 level language test (e.g., telc B2 or Goethe B2).

Candidates holding the relevant certifications are eligible to enroll in this course. Those without a B2 certificate can take a B2 examination with us to qualify for the course.

The preparatory course for the Medical Language Examination encompasses a total of 240 instructional units, each lasting 45 minutes. An internal examination is conducted at the end of the course to simulate the FSP before the Medical Chamber.

The course focuses on doctor-patient communication, doctor-doctor interactions, and the writing of medical reports.
